Aside from teaching, Adam also operates a restoration business that produces both disaster restoration and residential cleaning jobs. After attending Middle Georgia College on a baseball scholarship, Adam started in the business as a cleaning technician and worked his way up to General Manager of the disaster restoration company where he still works full time. In 2011, Adam partnered with Scott Mims to expand the exisiting business to new territories.  Adam grew up in the construction and restoration industry with his father and grandfather both running a construction business.

Adam is an IICRC approved instructor in Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and has taught throughout the US. His approach to teaching is formed through his daily hands on activities within his business still performing hundreds of water and fire restoration losses each year. His style of teaching comes from his background and knowledge in the hands on application of the principles that he is teaching.

Adam has served on the WRT technical advisory committee within the IICRC and is a Master Water Restorer.
